Yesterday was such a beautiful, but hot day… we just had to get some Waiola Shave Ice! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! So delicious! Kevin ordered a small cup and I ordered a extra-large bowl! Love it!

So much practice and so much time dedicated to putting on these performances, now we can rest! Congratulations to all of the winners of the festival and to all of the participants and visitors for making this 2010 Merrie Monarch unforgettable. So much love to Halau O Ka Ua Kani Lehua and most of all Uncle Johnny for making this another year of fun! It was such a pleasure to be at home with all of you. Our hearts and prayers are with the families of Aunty Dottie and Uncle Ray… thank you for your loving contribution to our culture, you will always be remembered.
